The Montana Partnership with Regions for Excellence in STEM (MPRES) project is designed to build upon two previous successful Montana Science Partnership grant projects to improve K-12 science student achievement and teacher instruction and incorporate the Framework for K-12 Science Education. Numerous institutions and individuals in Montana have come together to make the MPRES possible, including:
- Montana State University-Billings (Dr. Ken Miller, Co-Director)
- Montana Tech of the University of Montana / Clark Fork Watershed Education Program (Rayelynn Connole, Co-Director)
- Alliance for Curriculum Enhancement
- Billings Public Schools
- Butte School District #1
- The five Montana Regional Education Service Areas
- Funding provided through a Mathematics and Science Partnerships Program (MSP) Grant (2013-2015) from the Montana Office of Public Instruction
